Wat Muang Privacy Policy

 

Wat Muang has issued this Personal Data Protection Policy to inform users and visitors about its policy regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data. This policy is in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”) and relevant laws and regulations. It explains how Wat Muang collects, uses, or discloses your personal data, the types of data collected, the purposes of processing, the duration of data retention, disclosure to third parties, your rights, data confidentiality and security measures, and how you can contact Wat Muang.

“Personal Data” refers to any information relating to a person that enables the identification of that person, either directly or indirectly, in accordance with applicable law.

2.1 Personal Data Collected

 

Wat Muang may collect the following personal data from you:

  5. Social media contact information (e.g., LINE ID, Facebook ID)

2.3 Retention Period

 

Personal data will be stored as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined. If you are a customer, the data will be retained for 10 years after the end of the customer relationship, or as required by law.

Wat Muang will collect, use, and/or disclose your personal data as necessary for the legitimate interests of the temple, with your consent, or under legal grounds, for the following purposes:

 

  1. Managing and organizing marketing activities in accordance with event terms

  2. Providing information, recommendations, and promotional updates via the provided contact channels

  3. Improving products, services, and marketing campaigns

  4. Communicating, responding to inquiries, and providing post-service support

  5. Verifying identity before providing services

  7. Providing services or communicating such as surveys, promotional alerts, or special offers

  8. Fulfilling contracts

  9. Complying with legal or public interest obligations

  10. Preventing or mitigating harm to life, body, or health

 

Failure to provide personal data may prevent Wat Muang from providing certain services.

You have full discretion in granting consent for data collection, and consent will not be required as a condition for service or contract access unless necessary.

If the data subject is a minor (under the Civil and Commercial Code), consent must be obtained from the legal guardian. If under 10 years old, consent must be given directly by the guardian.

 

For persons with limited or no legal capacity, consent must be provided by their legal representative or guardian.
